Join All the Ransomed Sons of Grace

This entry is part 11 of 11 in the series Hymns for the Watch-Night

Hymns for the Watch-Night (#11)

Charles Wesley
(1707-1788)
John Wesley
(1703-1791)

Join all the ransomed sons of grace,
The holy joy prolong,
And shout to the Redeemer’s praise
A solemn midnight song.

Blessing and thanks and love and might
Be to our Jesus given,
Who turns our darkness into light,
Who turns our hell to heaven.

Thither our faithful souls He leads,
Thither He bids us rise,
With crowns of joy upon our heads,
To meet Him in the skies.

To seal the universal doom,
The skies He soon shall bow;
But if Thou must at midnight come,
O let us meet Thee now.
